Structure Generator Overview
Structure generator is an important part of the -Pro® module. The generator reads user defined geometric in the input.xml and then provide the 3D discretized structured grid of phase label to our simulation program.
Here is a list of current supported geometries in the input.xml
| Geometry Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Slab | Infinite 2D plane with thickness |
| Ellipsoid | One ellipsoid |
| Ellipsoid Shell | One ellipsoid of core shell structure |
| Random Ellipsoid | Multiple ellipsoid, with random location, shape, dimension, rotation |
| Random Ellipsoid Shell | Multiple ellipsoid shell, with random location, shape, dimension, rotation |
| Random Scale Ellipsoid | Multiple ellipsoid, with random location, rotation, dimension, but fixed shape |
| Random Scale Ellipsoid Shell | Multiple ellipsoid shell, with random location, rotation, but fixed shape |
You may also load structure data from external files, such as microstructure.vti or microstructure.in.
