Introduction ​

Mu-Pro® Dielectric Breakdown module is a stoichastic simulation program for predicting the breakdown path in dielectric materials.

This manual describes how to use the dielectric dreakdown module of phase field package Mu-Pro®.

Input ​

1. digitized microstructure from a computer simulation or experiment
2. properties of phases/ crystals/domains that constitute the microstructure

Output ​

1. effective scaler or tensorial properties;
2. spatial distributions of electric potential/field.

The code also provides ​

1. graphical input for inputting parameters and digitized microstructure image file;
2. a microstructure generator for some representative two-phase microstructures;
3. graphical visualization and animation of field distributions
